Sports, Music, Politics: A Introspective Look At The Triumphs And The Absurdities of Modern Life In The Information Age

RIP to DONNA SUMMER

December 31, 1948 – May 17, 2012

wow im shocked I didnt even know she was sick. She will be missed. Shes labeled the queen of disco but her and her producer Gorgio Moroder mixed German Robot music with Philly Soul and created what people would later call techno music. her 1977 song I Feel Love basically is the start of Techno. RIP to her and her family, now that shes passed people will realize how great she was

The 10 Best Films Since 2000

1. RAY

Jamie Foxx was absolutely brilliant capturing the genius of Ray Charles and deserved and WON an Oscar for best actor

2. 300

A perfect mix of Story telling, Special Effects and downright ass kicking based on True events of the Greeks vs. The Persians

3. THE DARK KNIGHT

After Bat man was left for dead, (George Clooney playing Bat Man seriously?) It got a major come back one of the best super hero films ever made. RIP Heath Ledger

4. MINORITY REPORT

Underrated Thriller starring Tom Cruise directed by Steven Spielberg, about life, the law and crime in the near future in Washington, DC in the year 2052. They nailed it

5. TROPIC THUNDER

Incredibly Hilarious! probably the hardest I laughed since Friday Part 1

6. SPIDERMAN

They finally got the technology to capture Spidey like it should be, Toby captured what Spidey should be, not crazy about Kristen Dunst as MJ but that they got everything else right!

7. INCEPTION

Very layered and complicated but its very good, you just need to set aside time to watch it and then watch it for the 2nd and 3rd time, yo cant catch it all in one sitting!

8. THE INCREDIBLES

Animated superhero movie on top, but beneath it a story about PURPOSE what do retired superheroes (or in real life Athletes) do to feel valid when there run is over?

9. IRON MAN

Really, Really, Really Good

10. TRAFFIC

Multiple layered film about the Drug Game and how it affects everyone. Benicio Del Toro won an Oscar. The only Latin i can name that ever won!

Sometimes I want to either strangle my dad or event a time machine to go back and buy them all up and seal them in an air tight container that says dont open until 2012!
latimes:

It’s the 50th anniversary of Marvel’s Spider-Man, and all year Hero Complex will talk to notable names about the character’s success and singular appeal.
Today: A guest essay by Neal Adams, one of the most influential comic-book artists of the modern era and one of the industry’s leading voices for artists’ rights.

And so with Superman the concept of superhero was born and flourished … until the dark ages of comics showed up with the fanatical attacks of Fredric Wertham and Congress. Comics nearly shut down, except for Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, a bevy of new sparkle-toothed-born do-gooders. Not one bad thought existed in the minds of these heroes, whose books shared the spinner-rack with DC’s Pat Boone comics (yes, I said Pat Boone comics) and Jerry Lewis.
I was there, and it was hell.

Jesus Died for our sins by going to the cross. He was sold out By Judas. But if Jesus isn’t crucified then we couldn’t be forgiven by his blood correct? Judas action helped send him there so why isn’t Judas considered a HERO?

Judas = Betrayal = Crucifixion = Salvation
